In Paris I see people hanging out in the evenings, going to cheap art galleries, valuing fashion, enjoying food and talking about ideas. Meanwhile in the US we're devising "hacks" to not engage with art, ingest the bare minimum to live, and become the most efficient personality-free drones possible.

Looking at the current world events, I randomly think back to a non-fiction book titled "The Tipping Point".

I know that anatomy is important to learn and practice as an artist, I think I need to switch focus because just at the thought of more thumbs, fingers and hands I'll go feral.

Der Boom an den internationalen Aktienmärkten hat die Vermögen der Reichen und Superreichen im vergangenen Jahr deutlich erhöht. Bei den weniger wohlhabenden Menschen sieht die Lage anders aus.

About the question whether we should make #art in times like these:
Personally, my #gamedev project has helped me tremendously over these past months.
It doesn't make the pain go away, but it makes me feel like I'm witnessing my own emotions, and growth. I am grateful for that.
