Insane answers out of the Sun Times senate primary debate about AI

-Kelly claims it’s good when doctors use AI
-Stratton talks about self checkout (??)
-Krishnamoorthi says we need AI for aircraft maintenance.

I wouldn’t trust AI to create a dinner recipe for me but ok yeah let’s do these things

The Trump admin is scrambling because the secret police it sends out for kidnappings and rioting has been killing people on video then brazenly lying about it, but Schumer's instinct is to whip his caucus into taking a position *more conservative* than that held by the median voter.

He's got to go.
Majority of the country now wants to abolish and/or dismantle ICE and yet Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y. told the caucus the message had to be to “restrain, reform and restrict ICE.”

Once again it looks like Schumer is about to choke after getting a massive opportunity.

So pathetic and weak.
Senate Democrats plot strategy as DHS standoff deepens heading into shutdown week
Two sources who were on a Democratic caucus strategy call Sunday said Minority Leader Chuck Schumer told the group the message must be to “restrain, reform and restrict ICE.”

NEW: A Texas county medical examiner found that Geraldo Lunas Campos was choked to death by a guard while he was held in ICE custody earlier this month.

Geraldo is the sixth person to die in ICE detention this year.

Reminder that, as of the latest reports, Liam Ramos is still in prison in Texas - now for 5 days.

His parents are legal asylum seekers with no criminal record.

To me these ICE raids echo a kind of Southern revenge against Northern occupation in the South during the civil war, reconstruction, integration, civil rights etc. A kind of twisted history where Texas gets to send in a slave catcher-esque force to enact its disgusting might

FlyQuest pushing for an in the building academy team? Very very exciting and the kind of tier 2 support that we need in this league

I’m most impressed with Cryogen in the #FlyQuest win today. He played out games so aggressively, especially the karma game. Great to see this ferocity from a rookie, much easier to tamp that down than to build that up.

Voting NO on the DHS funding bill is the bare minimum.

Backing Kristi Noem’s impeachment is the bare minimum.

Holding law-breaking ICE agents legally accountable is the bare minimum.

ICE is beyond reform. Abolish it.

So #FlyQuest announced that they’re bringing LS on as a strategic consultant. I had hoped that they brought on more support staff for their young team, so this is a great addition in my book.

Glad that he and Gryffin have a history together, hopefully Gryffin can keep spirits high this year

an administration staffed to the top with degenerate liars
Noem lies shamelessly: "An individual approached order Patrol officers with a 9mm semi-automatic gun. The officers attempted to disarm this individual, but the armed suspect reacted violently. This looks like a situation where an individual arrived to inflict maximum damage and kill law enforcement"

You have to read this. Firsthand affidavit from one of the women who was there and recording the video. She talks about how Alex Pretti was directing traffic when she arrived. She watched him be killed in front of her. She's afraid to go home, worried she'll be arrested.

Is it good when you can’t record the wails of children emanating from a walled off camp
Children screaming and crying can be heard as a possible uprising is underway at the ICE Children's Concentration Camp in Dilley, TX (1/24/26).

Can somebody explain to me why when the Supreme Court ruled that ICE cannot continue operations in Illinois on the grounds the governor didn’t ask for it, why then is ICE able to continue doing exactly this in other blue states? Is this the result of the court weakening nationwide injunctions?

The only conceivable upside (as far as I can tell) to being fed state enacted snuff on IG reels every morning is that it’s going to be even more difficult for supports of said state to claim ignorance, as they tried to do in the 40’s
