Some people don't feel as close to this as they ought to. Most of us are just a bad break or two away from winding up on the streets, and addiction & mental health crises can affect anyone. They're gutting services and rendering more of us disposable, and there's a carceral disposal system waiting.

As with most fascist regimes, disabled and homeless people get hospitalized first, then when they run out of beds they get jailed, then when the fascists get tired of constantly failing at it they start getting sterilized, killed, or both.

I have had death threats for my work on trans rights. I have been stalked. I have had people try and have me thrown out of my University. I am by no means alone, and lots of trans-inclusive academics have spoken publicly about the violence and harassment they face. But no mention of that here.

Julia Klöckner hat angewiesen, dass zur diesjährigen Pride Parade in Berlin keine Regenbogenflagge auf dem Bundestag weht. Nun wurde auch die Teilnahme der Bundesregierung an der Pride zurückgenommen.
