That would be an incorrect position. Every country in the world owns US debt to some degree or another. It is the primary currency used to intermediate markets. Assuming Canada's holding of UST was a plan or that Carney is in on EU plans is not supported by data.

You don't have to control every wallet. Use levers of power making transactions illegal. You don't have to take control of the asset, you just have to orphan it. If you've transacted on an "official" exchange, then KYC identifies your targets.

Surely you're not suggesting that a defense contractor would engage in media manipulation/bot networks in order to get its product sold here. I'm suggesting it, because it's happening. The F-35 can fuck off. We should take the better Gripen and the jobs it brings.

If you consider the US government made it illegal at one point to own gold (33 - 74) and took "possession" of it and gave people paper, the implication being your wallet cannot be taken from you. That of course is complete nonsense but then again, so is the entire financial industry.
