Anyway those last two threads came about after I told myself that going into certain characters' tags is basically exposure therapy to teach me how to look at both canon and fandom like someone with a healthy brain. Though the one that made me uncomfortable was in a totally different tag

People who can get into reader insert stuff for the Most Married Characters Ever fascinate me because it requires either doing polyamory, which most of them don't, or disregarding canon even harder than I thought anyone possibly could.

A similar dance is liking two characters who people often ship (non-canon and more apathy but like... better than the canon ones) but like half the people who like one of them hate the other
Liking posts of a fav character whose only canon ships are notops on a site that will recommend you posts based on your likes is like dancing to beautiful music in a minefield

Now I'm being rec'd Harmony/Urbain art and it's impossible for me not to think "stop untransing their genders"
Oh you might think that since the boy is considered "default" so often that it's the other way around, but Urbain is dressed like he's stewing in dysphoria and Taunie is dressed cute.

idk I always try to hammer home to others that you can't control any story you don't write yourself or commission but I can't pretend it never gets under my skin. This character should be happy and thriving; that character should be irreparably broken but trying his best despite his anger at it

Keep thinking about this term "pre-digested" that Kojima used to describe art that's instantly gratifying. And how it's better when people grow to love something instead.
I've gravitated, as player and designer, toward the latter, but that term "pre-digested" is new and feels very strong.

“try water fox or ice weasel” try chill penguin. install flame mammoth. you just download bubble crab. literally just use boomer kuwanger. sting chameleon has a search bar, use it to find toxic seahorse.
I asked what I should use instead of firefox and someone said “floorp” and I legitimately thought it was a bit for like five minutes. tech has gone beyond making the torment nexus real to making poob real.

An underrated thing about plza is that they got really good at making gold look like metal. I noticed it with the shiny magikarp but I was just like neat it used to be yellow. But then chingling was added and yeah that's an actual bell great job
