Hey, Nashville Predators fans! I've started the PredsNHL Fans feed so we can chat about the Preds and follow games together. To be added to the feed, reply to this post with your favorite Preds player or a memorable moment from a game. When you want to post to the feed, use the #PredsNHL hashtag.

After an amazing December, that was a tough start to 2026 for the #PredsNHL. But even with a tough loss they eventually had some good moments. Much more enjoyable team to watch than a few months ago.

I think the #PredsNHL just decided to have a bad game when they knew we were all too tired to stay up late. Considerate of them, really.

USPS quietly changed its postmark rules — mail is no longer dated when you drop it off. The “official” date is when it hits automated sorting — sometimes days later

Which could have major implications for mail in voting — it’s a clever way to disenfranchise voters that’s going largely overlooked

I once sold Peter Frampton a home stereo while working at Circuit City in the late '90s.
Right folks. Feeling rather down at the moment so bringing back an oldie

The name "Popular Science" doesn't mean we shift our coverage depending on public opinion. It means we cover relevant subjects that are rigorously researched, reliable, and grounded in reality.

And trans lives are grounded in reality.

We see y'all. No matter what.

First-of-a-kind study shows encouraging data for trans kids who socially transition
Ninety-four percent of participants in a new study stood firm in their trans identity after five years, and "detransitioning" is rare.

Before the 1990s, plane crashes caused by microbursts used to kill planeloads of people fairly regularly.

Dr. Ted Fujita and NCAR scientists figured out how to detect microbursts and warn pilots about them.

Since then? Zero airliner crashes from microbursts.

It bugs me that all the "year in review" and recap stuff comes out in December. Some even in November. Shouldn't 2025 recap stuff come out in January?

BNA leadership seems set on continuing to blame external forces rather than creating solutions. It’s embarrassing. New York has real traffic and does not have these problems.
AVs wont fix this (they're going to make it worse). Private single lane tunnels wont fix this.

We need to get serious about getting people to and from BNA. That means buses in the near term and light rail in the medium term. We are not special and we do not need to reinvent the wheel here.

But for now, I'm looking for my next adventure. If you know any companies - especially early stage start ups - looking for a marketing leader/generalist, let me know.
