Had an item break and the customer reached out to me. Said I’d refund and replace the item, but unfortunately they won’t have it for this holiday. Apologized. Said I’d replace the one they bought for their friend and refund. Responds only with “my friend’s broke too.” Repeated myself. No reply.

That TikTok video of a Black woman in active labor while the nurse just asks her intake questions without emotion pissed me off so badly. It’s medical racism, of course. But it also shows how bureaucracy has eliminated any compassion towards are fellow human beings.
