Downside is I don't get home until 10pm and don't see my family for most of the day on days I work. It also makes it so I don't eat for ~9 hours because I don't have breaks. Still, I'm so not a morning person that I can't handle the 9-5. This is just about perfect for me. Also, look at that soup!

This is exactly the kind of thing I play on guitar where I find it to be a lot easier but then I'm way better on guitar than on alto. It's fun to adapt guitaristic things to a different instrument, though. Here's what it sounds like on guitar.

I'm really not a morning person so it's pretty much a perfect situation.

Put this on after. Love these Moodsville albums. Look at this lineup. Young Andrew Cyrille!

Whoa, this is insane! What is it?

I'll keep an eye out for it.

Oh god, it's incredibly beautiful. My pick for my favourite track on the record.

Fritz the black cat, the other black cat who looks like Fritz but is way nicer...

the man who walks down the street swearing under his breath, the guy in camo who looks insane but is actually nice, the guy who collects junk, the old man who sells stuff on the sidewalk, the guys who hang out on the fence in front of the social housing/

Oh boy, can't wait to watch this!

Yeah, same with Yo La Tengo for me. The Replacements as well. But I've come around on things too many times in my life to count out any artist for good. So I keep giving a listen now and then and sometimes it finally hits. But there's so much music in the world, I don't try too hard.

This is something I learned from late Gesualdo madrigals. Fell in love with that sound and it's a really fun thing to play around with when improvising. Really tricky to get under the fingers, though. It's such an unusual movement. Also, I suck.
