I think I may have invented the "sconnen". Its a fruit scone with the flavours of stollen: sultanas, marzipan cubes, candied peel, vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon. Topped with a marzipan star.

First bake using the new beast.
"Stollenish". Its a trad. stollen recipe, but rather than a roll of marzipan running through, I cubed it and mixed in.
I need to rethink the prove to get a better texture (its by no means bad though) but the flavour is spot on.
