Nigel Farage wants all police officers to routinely carry guns.

The shooting of innocent civilians by masked government agents in Minneapolis is the worst of Trump’s America.

We cannot let it become Farage’s Britain.

I know I keep writing about this, but the level of delusion is staggering. How do so many people think Reform will 'save the country' when it’s led by defected Tories from the worst cabinet in UK history? It’s not change, just same failures, new logo, and people cheering like it’s a revival, not a rerun.

Lunacy.

There's no other word that fits.

The Green party would at once remove our only 2 deterrents to foreign aggression.

Populists on the left are every bit as dangerous as those on the right.
EXC: Zack Polanski tells us Britain should consider closing US military bases, leave Nato and denuclearise, as he begins to flesh out the Greens’ foreign policy.

Also spells out to @pippacrerar.bsky.social and me his red lines in any coalition talks to come.

Forget all that "strategic" stuff he only wants Greenland so that he can paint it orange and label it Trumpland.
The government must work with our European partners on retaliatory measures to hit Trump and his cronies where it hurts, unless he drops these tariffs.

It's time to show that Britain stands with our allies and we won’t be bullied into submission.

The PM must tell Trump in no uncertain terms: if he goes ahead with these outrageous tariffs and continues to bully Greenland, there’ll be no state visit to the US in April.

The UK must not be a doormat for an extortionist, or reward Trump’s behaviour with the pageantry he craves.

According to this careful analysis the fall in Reform poll support is NOT a mirage = could it be that Rat Robert is JOINING a sinking ship ?

Starmer’s US policy lies in tatters. Trump is now punishing the UK and NATO allies just for doing the right thing.

Time for the PM to stand firm against the bully in the White House, and work with European and Commonwealth allies to make him back down from this reckless plan.

Latest Reform polls (Survation 29%, Find Out Now 28%, Techne 28%, after most reputable YouGov 24%) suggest slippage = could over-ambitious Jenrick turn out to be a rat JOINING a sinking ship?
Funny how Robert Jenrick, Reform’s latest signing, says “Britain is in decline” ,considering he helped run it as a Tory minister under May, Johnson,Truss &Sunak.
At this point, Reform looks less like a fresh start and more like a reunion tour for the people who caused the decline in the first place.

How many more Tory MPs have to desert to make Ed Davey Leader of the Opposition?
Tonight's turret meeting will be pretty awkward
January 15, 2026 at 2:14 PM
This has become increasingly urgent, ever since our 2013 cross-party draft BIll in "Funding Democracy", if British elections are not to be bought by billionaires - from home or abroad.
Canada, France and Australia cap political donations. Why not the UK? 🇬🇧
