Someone DM'ed me to state that mandatory retirement is ageist. My concern is not competency, but VALUES. I firmly believe that elders need to turn over the reins to younger people. Too many elders in office are addicted to feeling important. They hoard power instead of empowering others.

MAGA voters did this because non-voters created a vacuum that lifted MAGA up. Record turn-out by otherwise non-voters was a key factor in the sweeping election wins. I have hope.
