Was really excited for Kabayel vs. Knyba as a big Kabayel guy. Fight was shaping up to be a blast and then a bizarrely quick stoppage one fight after a referee let a fight go way too long. Disappoinging stuff, but Kabayel gets the win and hopefully lands a world title fight in 2026.

Man, two of my happiest moments from last week were watching anime with my 12-year-old daughter before everyone else woke up (I generally hate anime) and playing terrible Roblox games with my seven-year-old daughter. This dude should absolutely not be a parent.

Friend's family invited me to a drive-in double feature. One of the movies was Waterworld, which I'd already seen. Two of the reels were flipped, which nobody picked up on. They were just kind of generally confused in a "I heard this was bad, but ..." way. Great shit, really.

Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.

It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.
