UK electricity costs ~4.7× more per kWh than gas under the price cap.
This is a policy failure, not a market one — and it’s actively blocking decarbonisation.

Gas from grass is a terrible idea, as so many have been saying for a long time. See for instance ⬇️Dale Vince has been competing for a long time with Good Energy which uses gas from biodigesters on farms (mostly dairy farms): www.goodenergy.co.uk/our-energy/g..., but both are 👎

I won't link to it, but millionaire Labour donor Dale Vince has once again been unquestioningly given a platform to malign heat pumps.

His suggested alternative?

- Biogas made from grass cuttings, for which he can't or won't demonstrate how he'd scale it.

Show us your sums or pipe down, fella.

Millionaire Dale Vince is once again campaigning against heat pumps in the media, while marketing his own company's solution, which is biogas made from grass cuttings.
“I’m interested in facts and figures”

What do the “facts and figures” tell us about the viability of your green gas solution Dale? They seem to be missing.
