Revisiting this article of mine re: shots on goal/missed/blocked
Since the NHL reportedly moved to using chip tech for event recording (reportedly for 23-24), ~8% of shots that were previously recorded as on goal are now recorded as blocked or missed

The Red Wings currently rank 10th in the league in 5v5 xGF% (via @evolving-hockey.com). This would be their best 5v5 xGF% since 2012-2013

While the point totals aren’t there for Mo, I’d argue that he’s still had a tremendous overall start to the season.
