realis sentences are a mechanic that quietly wormed into my broader TTRPG vocabulary before i consciously noticed. i've found myself phrasing things differently when i conceptualise & interact with other games, which gives me new angles of exploration. it's special & exciting when a game does that!

doing a lot of things makes it very annoying to advertise my professional services but gosh when it works out........ the past couple weeks i've had simultaneous ttrpg editing, writing, & podcast editing contracts alongside the many tasks i get to do at HT & the variety has been!! soso fulfilling!!!

for once in my life i emailed a physio about this immediately bc it's quite bad & i have a habit of letting injuries heal poorly & needing more intense intervention later BUT they responded to me TOO QUICKLY. i only wanted the ILLUSION of dealing with it. actually dealing with it is TOO MUCH
being thirty or forty years old is mostly awesome but i did somehow do something to my shoulder in my sleep that has me nauseous from pain every time i move slightly wrong even after nearly four hours of gentle stretching & massage

i saw a post so beautiful i started crying?
(girl who is extremely meticulous about metadata in her home media player) i think a game where the entire mechanical premise is moving numbers around on a spreadsheet and then interpeting what those changes mean is not only fun but an underexplored narrative prompting engine

does anyone know if there's a setting buried somewhere in discord i'm not finding to turn off animated server icons/server banners? i can't, like, read if there's an animation going in the corner of my eye. which as you may imagine presents a problem vis a vis reading the contents of the server

i know the only thing i talk abt with o/u is the creativity but it's all i can think about. people make stuff when they feel supported. it's an instinct. i want to learn from it. how do we find ways to tell people "hey: you're a community now" & give them the motivation to make it true
I wish I could see some sort of visualization for the impact of #over/under post game. I'm seeing a viral spread of ALL kinds of games being spun up and joined just because of O/U's momentum. Tons of people are starting to write their first content for games, with an insane support network to help.

here's my biggest takeaway from O/U. i need to write a musical. i tried to get a related community project off the ground earlier this year & retreated back into my shell but no more. none. 2026 i am forcing my friends & allies to write musicals & outlandish concept albums with me & that's it
alright & here's mine! the songs i wrote as cardinal horologium, troubadour of the many-voice ✨ this month has been so nuts i genuinely forgot abt one of these. i also did a bo burnham cover for a comedy night that got interrupted by a declaration of war. that is not on here #over/under

been meditating recently on how overly attached i was to musical!fiyero as a teen & how good jbail's performance is in the movie..... he does both the joyful defensive vapidity & nervous realness so well when called for & he's SUCH a delight to watch purposefully captivate a crowd. what a treat

i've been so excited about this project since i started hearing rumblings of it a little while ago. i can never get enough cyberpunk TTRPGs & mothership is one of the most intuitive-to-me systems i've ever run so the combo feels tailor-made. throw your support behind it so i can get a book alright
if any weird body horror happens to a PC or NPC that uses my Actual Face please do let me know
