i'm so sorry everyone but this book so far is like my worst fear when someone recommends a fantasy genre book to me. i'm still listening at 1x speed but it's a struggle. right now i'm betting that i won't like the first lotr movie bc i loved the first book so much but i will like the third better

one of my fav small details hearing caleb talk abt this, as someone who reads a lot of solo games, is how good he is at finding sincerity without tipping into something saccharine. it's just so fun & earnest & good. much like caleb & the other ppl he brings on board stuff like this!!

reading the development section of the wikipedia & getting so so so sad that GDT did not end up making the movie i've heard him talk about for like two decades

most software has strong opinions on it but layout software specifically is like "Fuck you. Fuck you. Fuck you. Your document is now in an unreadable script you downloaded because the card suit text looks good in it now & it'll take seventy-five Undo commands to get it back. Die" & like i get it

unfortunately something has broken in my invoice exporting so any cute little heart emojis i put in the message section don't show up anymore so i am being forced into early retirement.

throwback to going back to work as a server after a week of having a "sprained ankle" & all of my coworkers convincing me to go to the hospital that day to get it looked at & they immediately put a cast on me because my foot was broken in two places

gonna think abt them a lot tbh! they 100% all ended up completely fucking disastrous in game, but by this time next year i'll likely just think really warmly of them & it'll be so nice. i've even thought about adding more holiday songs to this but i think i'm just going to let it sit as it is lol
