Hannah inspecting the new stairs from the kitchen. Great day with the builder to get the heavy stairs in place with mm precision. Hats off to the carpenter who made it to measure before there was much to measure it to! Now just trims, glass panel & handrail to fit, decorate it in, & fit the parquet.

It’s finally time to fit the new staircase from the hall to the kitchen! The temporary steps have served us well for the past 5 years, but it will be good to get the new oak staircase out of the hall where it has sat for around 3 years! Tomorrow is the big day.
