good work guys you picked a fight in which Dems can stand up out of their permanent defensive crouch and go “our guy is a fucking astronaut and you’re an alcoholic tv host”
Gallego to Hegseth: "You will never ever be half the man that Sen. Kelly is. You, sir, are a coward. And the fact that you are following this order from the president shows how big of a coward you are. I can't wait until you are no longer the secretary of defense."

Ironically it’s possible that Trump’s first real business success was using the presidency to con his supporters out of billions of dollars and sell off public assets

It’s amazing the GOP gets away with sending extremist lunatics like Boebert, Gaetz, MTG, Gohmert, Mullin, Hawley, Cotton, Ron Johnson, Tuberville, etc to Congress but we’re constantly bombarded with media asking things like “will Zohran will hurt Dems in purple districts halfway across the country?”

How We Grew Numb to Trump’s Calls for the Slaughter of Anyone He Wants
Is this what we’ve become, at this failing stage of the grand American democratic experiment?

Disbanding the SRG is one of the easiest choices Zohran will have to make if he really intends to reform the NYPD, and it will be incredibly concerning if he caves on this.

Democrats are responsible for every intemperate comment from every random anonymous internet communist.

But the Republican president who is at the center of a cult of personality that has consumed the entire GOP can call for mass executions, and somehow this isn’t laid at the feet of Republicans.
Weird. Nothing on the @nytimes.com homepage about the President of the United States calling for the execution of members of the opposition in response to their political speech.
Important: House Dem leaders just said Trump's call for execution of Dems has prompted them to contact US Capitol Police and House Sergeant at Arms to "ensure the safety of these members and their families."

Treat Trump like an unhinged menace. He's weak and in deep political trouble. Don't let up.

If you're trying to convince your friends to spend time on Bluesky rather than X, maybe show them this. X is not "the public town square" or about "free speech." It's "just what Elon Musk wants you to see." If you see stuff he doesn't like he'll step in to make sure you don't see it for long.
If you scroll on X, you are only being shown what Elon wants you to see. If you create content on X, no one will see it unless Elon wants them to.

our president is an extremist group leader who has multiple public mental breakdowns each week, sleeps through meetings, rambles incoherently, and has constant temper tantrums, but our media hasn’t spent a fraction of the ink questioning his mental fitness as they did on Joe Biden

If the pro-life and anti-Christian persecution groups truly believe in their causes, why are they quiet about the president hosting a tyrant at the White House who had a man brutally assassinated and dismembered and who is part of a regime that persecutes Christians?

You don’t promise to execute lawmakers for warning the military against illegal commands unless your goal is to give those illegal commands and expect the military to obey them.

They rounded a bunch of random Venezuelans with tats and pretended they were in tren de aragua, then started blowing up random Venezuelan boats they claim “carried drugs,” in order to slowly groom their base into supporting a full ground war on Venezuela that was always about oil
Whole bunch of stuff beginning to make a lot of sense.

Just to review, in the last week the President of the United States:

- Refused to condemn the rise of Neo-Nazis in his party
- Tried to block the release of further evidence he sexually abused children
- Encouraged the execution of Congressional Democrats

Those are just factual statements.

Have to appreciate how fitting it is that Democrats' warning about Trump abusing his position to command the military to take illegal action prompted him to abuse his position by demanding that they be tried for capital crimes.

Political journalism, and the elite tier of journalism generally, got taken over by billionaire courtiers, conservative activists and sex-pest dipshits and those three groups have largely hounded the real reporters out of the profession as a matter of class self-interest.

Really don’t care if Platner recites the entire Gospel of Bernie, he should not be elected. Amazing that the BS, evidence-free Zohran anti-semitism smears get breathless media and political attention but Platner doesn’t get a fraction of that.

I think we all know why.
Platner then again airily shrugs it off as being just "a skull & crossbones," chuckling slightly about it. He again reiterates that "skull & crossbones" logos have been "popular since the Romans" (not the greatest reference if you're trying to win over Jews, btw). 4/
