Happy. About that. He's a bit cranky even. Zevran's pushed down into the mud, Ulric's sort of kneeling on top of his chest, resting his weight on the other leg and his greatsword which is stabbed (for the lack of better word on my brain rn) into the ground right next to Zev's head. Cutting some strands of his hair. The rest of the party - Morrigan, Leliana and Alistair (who's ready to strike) are watching the scene. Ulric's usually pretty friendly and fun to be around, but he doesn't like being attacked u_u also he's been mourning his unscarred face for the past week or so

Ulric had half his face burned off a few days prior to this. Ofc he’s not exactly… pleasant. Altho, he’ll start being very sweet for a certain someone and they will kiss soon after.

Grey O'Hare belongs to @scaredprince.bsky.social 💞
Lovers style tarot piece (kind of, mostly me playing around), with a pink into teal/green card-like background. A peach coloured sphere sits behind two characters with pale clouds forming heart like shapes and a darker ring of red/pink surrounding it. A few lines and a sun shape at the top creates a border. The two characters, Beloved Aurum - a grumpy green tiefling warlock - and Grey O'Hare - just a dude man swashbuckling rogue - take up most of this piece. Grey is holding Beloved, looking at him with affection and like he is about to lean in for a kiss. Meanwhile, Beloved's face is angled a little to look at someone off the canvas who is perceiving the two - he doesn't love when people see him being softie and so he is sneakily flipping that person off with the hand supporting himself by Grey's neck. Found this on the AO3 subreddit, and I'm about to let it change my whole life (or at least work really hard to internalize it wrt my writing).
Someone's screenshot of a two-post twitter thread, from user blue (@bluewmist): the fastest way to kill motivation is to make your identity depend on the outcome. it's called ego involvement. when failing becomes failing as a person, your brain starts avoiding the whole thing. not because you don't care, but because you care too much. you don't need lower standards. you need less self-worth tangled up in your goals. the work gets easier when it's not about proving who you are.
