Survived driving the car on my own.
I didn’t get the memo about not opening the windows when it’s cold, though, so today was also the day I learnt out how to re-seat the passenger side glass in its cradle before I rolled it back up! Thankfully none of the components seemed to be damaged.

The fact that abuse of people who are not deemed sufficiently “vulnerable” according to several categories is deemed not a safeguarding matter is simply insane. Everyone deserves to be protected from abuse, not just those who fall into certain categories. #CofEpeeps #safeguarding

Made some delicious sausage rolls and hand pies this evening for H using a gloriously orange Ukichki Kuri squash from a local market gardener, Sosimix, a mix of veggie hard cheese and cheddar, sage, all wrapped in shortcrust. I also made some little veggie ‘meatballs’ with the remaining filling.
