I want Labor to be reelected in Australia because I want politics to be boring, not full of fucking carnival villains, secret agendas and loons. If I want entertainment, there is better stuff on TV.

Ironic that not long after the part in the interview where he admits to being a terrible father, he makes this absolute zinger of a dad joke

Revisiting old photos and wondering if the owners of this amazingly titled sideshow attraction would sue me if I stole the name for a podcast about retconned or retired Star Wars stories / characters (a la '70s Marvel Comics' Jabba the Hutt)

I’ve reported on homelessness for years and met many, many people who have found themselves in awful situations

Every single one of them had more decency and integrity than this privileged plutocrat

Never too late to start watching ScaRe
Hey we all need some escapism right now. Might I suggest this batshit adult animated sci-fi show I wrote for - Scavengers Reign on Max and Netflix. It has an insane 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. Very proud of it.

Kristin Scott Thomas constantly looking politely disgusted by Dr. Gaius Baltar is one of the most unexpected pleasures of Slow Horses season 4

Spent the day in the ER with an injured three year old, and the realisation that you can't always protect them from pain or sadness is crushing. Like, just crushing. The kid was a trooper though, g-d bless 'im

Scavengers Reign is a wondrous thing. There are plenty of shows I enjoy, but not many that I'd say I'm simply happy that they exist

Someone asked me what I thought of Blue Lights (which I really like) and the best I could come up with was 'post-prestige mid TV' because it's like a solid prime time '80s cop show but now with swearing

Good grief, why did no one tell me how great Pantheon was when it first appeared? Plus, it features the greatest electro-pop song ever (When in Rome's The Promise) as a plot point. Perfection.
