The carrot cake cheesecake at Junior's in Brooklyn is one of my favorites; I'm not sure I should be trusted with the knowledge of how to make one myself.

The sequel to Buckaroo Bonzai that the first movie promised us. I don't care if they have to recast everyone. I just want the thing done.

This is me with Wicked. I don’t want to see the movie, the stage show, read the book, or know anything about the plot. I refuse to read the Wikipedia page about it.

being married is like being an anthropologist of one person in particular, and the field work only ends when one of you dies

For a long time I thought my dad’s lasagna recipe was some sort of culinary wizardry learned from years of trial and error. Then he told me it was from a box of San Giorgio noodles and his sauce was Ragu with a bunch of stuff he added to it. It’s still my favorite lasagna though I make my own sauce.

I liked his science books and “I’m A Stranger Here Myself” which was a collection of his newspaper columns was ok bc it was in bite-sized pieces. This is one of his travel books and I’m starting to wonder how he keeps finding people in shops who don’t seem to like him.

I just started a Bill Bryson book that my dad gave me and I’m going to stick with it bc of that, but so far Bill comes off as a cranky old grandpa and it’s not that funny.

I still get chills when all of the TIE fighters are streaming past the Falcon's cockpit.

The Tombs was still there as of February 2024; I had dinner there. Garrett's is long gone and I think The Guards as well. Most of those old haunts have gone away.

I worked across the street from SOTW from 1997-99 and I might have gone there once or twice. I made most of my bad decisions at Chadwick's in Georgetown. Maker's Mark and ginger ale in a pint glass? Yes, please!

I think we saw their true form two weeks ago against the Packers and I haven’t seen anything since to change my mind. I also haven’t been able to see the past two games which is probably for the best.
