For 10 years now, Europe has reacted to every new Trump absurdity with the same response: outrage, handwringing, paralysis. We need to stop staring at the American car crash and finally start driving.
Trump serves only himself. Europe must act for itself.👇

Interesting framing. From whom did it originate. Especially given the undeniable fact that the two collaborating adversaries of Kyiv are atop any league table of the most corrupt governments on earth. (Putin and Trump.)
“For Ukraine’s partners, the taboo question now is not whether corruption is pervasive,” writes the former adviser to Volodymyr Zelensky. “But whether the current leadership is still part of the solution” econ.st/4olgKjA

Rep. Mike Quigley questioned whether U.S. security guarantees under Trump can be trusted, especially by European allies. “Why would anyone believe a president who let Putin blow through six deadlines? He makes promises and nothing happens, just like the Tomahawks. It all changes month to month.”

Trump's political position has worsened. I don't think how you can look at both and conclude anything other than that Dems won the shutdown"

Want to know how bad Donald Trump is losing his trade war with China?

Last month, he said China will buy 12 million tons of US soybeans by January. China hasn’t even bought 1/10th of that amount yet.

Trump is getting played by China while American farmers pay the price.
CNBC: My understanding is the White House said that China was gonna buy 12 million tons of soybeans from the US by January. That's approaching and they've only purchased 332,000. China has not confirmed that pledge.

BROOKE ROLLINS: Your point is salient. We've got a significant way to go

“Why is Putin more evil than Biden? I can’t even conceptualize that.”

To understand how much my former party has changed, it’s important to understand that if Tucker decided to run for president in 2028, he’d have a great shot at getting the GOP nomination. He really would.

Resignations could cost the GOP the House before the midterms, something that almost never happens. Majorities only collapse like this when a party is in a full-blown meltdown, and it has only happened a few times in modern history during periods of extreme dysfunction.

Currie's ruling also seems to rule out a reindictment of Comey by concluding that if the indictment was invalid at the time it was issued, prosecutors can't invoke a federal law that give extension of 6 months-plus in some situations.
