The thing about trying to make Star Trek appeal to a younger generation is that TNG, DS9, and Voyager had absolutely no problem appealing to me when I was a kid, and they weren't trying so hard.

The Eternals wasn't as bad as people say. Ms Marvel and Hawkeye were really good and fun. Shang Chi was great. Thunderbolts was great. Wonder Man is excellent. People who let the bad stuff Marvel has done blind them to how the good stuff really need to get over it.

We set up a govt where ALL military and law enforcement is in ONE branch of govt then pretended like the other two branches could actually be checks against the one that has all the guns. It was fucking stupid, and I'm tired of pretending like the founders of America weren't naive as fuck for this.

How little empathy and how much cruelty must a man have to burst someone's testicles? We know how that feels to just sit wrong. I'm sure I have the physical strength, but I think it would be psychologically impossible for me to do it.

Her ignorance and laziness put her in a position where she was out of her depth and got frustrated and angry. She took her emotions out on the innocent creature that she failed.

I saw someone say that he had no idea his life was about to end. I don't believe this. Maybe 5 min earlier he didn't, but the moment he got swarmed, I believe he expected he was about to die. It's what I would have been thinking. It's what countless other victims have thought. None of us are stupid

He had a gun and still didn't use it, opting instead to continue recording with his phone even as they beat and shot him to death. Some might call him foolish for this, but I think him noble and heroic in contrast to the weak, fearful, pathetic monsters that murdered him.

It's difficult to oppose the death penalty when I look at the oligarchy, kleptocracy, Trumpism, ICE, etc. My desire for heads to roll is about natural selection as much as justice. These kinds of people should not be allowed to exist.

I'd like to see Congress people joining their constituents in the streets, preferably armed particularly if they've ever praised the second amendment.

Perhaps instead of constantly crying about Trump on social media while having no power to do anything, Democrats should be brutally exposing and flaming their Republican colleagues who keep looking the other way and enabling Trump. If you can't get rid of Trump end the careers of his enablers.
