According to the woman who runs my local post office they cannot guarantee any item to be delivered because anywhere in the chain of custody the USPS may open the package, remove items, reseal it, and send it back on its way based on what the individual employee deems fitting that specific postage.

If you live in a state with a large rural population, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE consider investigating which areas in your region are food deserts & consider possibly giving to food banks that serve them. Rural food deserts are going to be the regions worst hit by the SNAP cutoff. Absolutely devastating.
