If you aren't seeing skeets from some of your fave people, they might have been labeled "Rude" by bsky mods. Idk what they are thinking, I don't need a mommy to tell me who to be buddies with. Anyway, go into Settings > moderation > bluesky moderation (advanced) and turn Rude off.

I haven't done a #WIPWednesday in ages, so here's Ed having a bit of a timeline crisis that I also had very recently
“Ed!” he exclaims, practically throwing his Switch and clambering from the couch. He flies into Ed like a torpedo and wraps him into a crushing hug. “Hey, little man,” Ed greets, voice successfully unwaivering. He ruffles Louis’ hair without thought, then rips his hand away, startled with himself. Hair ruffles are a dad thing. A Stede thing. Not an Ed thing. Alma doesn’t move from her spot, but she does give Ed a proper grin and small wave, which is more than he’s used to, with her. It puts something warm in the cradle of his chest. “What’re you guys playing?” Ed asks, at a loss for how to start a conversation with a nine- and twelve-year-old. And just like that, Louis grabs Ed’s hand and pulls him back to the couch. He squeezes them side by side and opens his Switch—it has an epic Final Fantasy skin, further proving that he’s Stede’s child. “It’s called Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games. It’s, like, super old.” Ed, having played multiple versions of the game himself, takes a closer look at the screen, and suddenly, he has never felt older. “Mate, this is from 2008. ‘S not that old.” A grimace from Stede and a deadpan expression from Alma are all Ed needs to know he’s wrong—he just doesn’t want to admit it. “That game came out before I was born,” Alma drawls. The information hits Ed like a smack to the face. “Don’t take it too seriously,” Stede says, placing a gentle hand on Ed’s shoulder. “If it’s older than they are, it’s considered an ancient artifact.” “But I played that on the DS,” Ed whines indignantly. “That wasn’t very long ago, was it?” Louis’ brows furrow, and he looks up in question. “What’s a DS?” Stede grimaces again and pats Ed’s shoulder. “Let’s go open this wine, yeah?” Ed, head hanging low, follows Stede like a lost puppy. Luckily for Ed, only Mary is in the kitchen to see his misery. “Hello, Ed,” she chirps, dusting her hands off on her baby blue apron. Her hair is in all sorts of disarray, stands having fallen from their tie and fly-aways flying. There’s a flour smudge on her forehead. She’s clearly been cooking for quite some time, but she looks content. Then she catches Ed’s expression, and her mouth twitches into a worried frown. “Are you alright?” “Alma and Lou told him that 2008 was practically the Stone Age,” Stede fills in when all Ed does is groan. “They didn’t even know what a Nintendo DS is,” he grumbles. Mary chuckles, leaning a hip against the crowded kitchen island. “Haven’t you heard? It’s a retro console.” Ed’s eyes widen in horror. “No.” Stede nods once, his eyes closed. “It was released in 2004—it’s twenty-one years old, now.” This feels like a personal attack. He squints at Stede. “That is not helping. How do you even know that?” Stede crosses his arms with a smug look. “I’ve gone to great lengths to build my video game collection. Much research has been necessary.” “Do you have a DS and Mario and Sonic at the 2008 Olympic Games?” Ed asks, all hope. There’s a pause, then a pitiful look. “Sorry, only the 2010 winter version.” Ed grumbles again. “Great lengths my ass.”
