The Giant's Grave Wedge Tomb • Lough Gur • Limerick
This fine example of a wedge tomb was excavated in 1938, and it was found to contain the remains of at least eight adults and four children.
Subsequent radiocarbon dating suggests that the burials date between 2202–2162 BC.

The Toots long barrow on Selsley Common, near Stroud, last week (historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-...). At c. 73 m, it was tricky to capture on my phone camera. Approached it from All Saints Church, Selsley (felt like a vertical climb!). Great views over the Severn. #TombTuesday #Neolithic
