I don't have experience with games specifically but with my tattoos that is literally the joy of working with a great artist. I tell them my very hazy vision of an idea and then they come back with all of the details filled in that I couldn't completely conceptualize myself.

The thing thats so insidious about using AI this way is that one of the main ways artists get hired are studios looking for art references and they find us and reach out.
This is removing a major avenue to get work if they can just generate nameless derivations of our ideas.

Another day, another game that I begin to struggle with playing because it refuses to show me the UI buttons I want.
I have a PS4 controller plugged into my PC, I am playing Skate Story and all of the buttons work just fine. Except that the UI interprets my stuff as an xbox controller layout.

There was a lot of talk about how dumb & had it is to use LLM's for writing NPC dialogue on here The other day and really thinking about it as I start up @ysbryd.net Demonschool today because in the first 3 in-game days there's already been a handful of NPC's that have had me cackling.
