It's been announced today that Gentildonna has sadly passed away.
Among other victories, she was the first three-year-old filly to win the Japan cup. She won it on this exact date, in 2012.
At age 16, It was reported that she passed away peacefully.
Her cause of death hasn't been announced yet.
