Just the usual.... A mix of many things. Apologies in advance to everyone whom this account may disappoint. You never have to follow me, even if I wish to follow you. Esp with 30 mill+, it's a bit overwhelmin'.

Maybe for fear of getting custard-pied*?

These terms - & objects, and phenomena - again are subject to a lot of regional/national/linguistic variation ...

custard pie in face (UK) = cream pie in face (US). Not sure where Canada stands on this divide.

*not a foot ailment.

But if you asked me what "flannel" is, I could give you a less prevaricating tergiversation.

Not a figure I generally warm to... but in this case, 🎯

Good to realise also the etymology!

Odd that wiki doesn't mention it. (Unless I overlooked it somewhere on the page you referenced!)

True, I insulted ordinary reptiles there - who, for a start, are just themselves - I don't accuse them of being psychopaths in high places.

I wasn't suggesting the outdated theory of evolutionary strata of brains. Merely that Cummings has a "high IQ" & is a dangerous, controlling mono/megalomaniac
November 21, 2025 at 10:46 AM
A less malicious case than DC of an arrogantly self-assertive "intelligence", also stubbornly moonbrained & - once let anywhere near the levers of power - not only personally abrasive but socially dangerous was S Hilton. Fantastically taken down in the Cameron years by @gilesyb.bsky.social ...

All I'd caveat there is "unintelligent"!

As you saw above: not because I see Dom as *bright* in any constructive or admirable or welcome sense ...

A hobbyhorse maybe:

My concern is just, as with Johnson & others, always: it hands ammo to those who pipe up "Ah, wrong! highly educated!"

When:

Plus this, and nuff said. (There is however more to damn him with.)

Mind you, he's pretty efficient (btw: exactly the sort of abstractly clinical notional value his alien brain loves) at least in dismantling himself ... and Johnson.

On a(n even) more serious note, some epic takedowns of Cummings and his society-eroding notions here:

(incl. cut-out-and-keep "receipts", as @snig.bsky.social calls them)

I liked this from Crawley though ...

not that it entirely offsets his general travails with the bat ...
November 20, 2025 at 5:27 PM
@BambleWeenie/"Billy Withered" on the Hellsite took Alexander's blade to the rotten Gordion knot of Grimes' swindling-

tbh I prefer the laborious, scrupulous unravelling of deceit à la @eliothiggins.bsky.social - can't convert shysters, but to establish truth - but axe method has salutary merit too

4:

He used to pronounce his name "Farridge". Until he realised there was some profit to be gained from sounding more "exotic".

So you see, don't blame bullying at school. He is to a very large extent a self-made arsehole - an opportunist, chancer, toxic slimebag.
