I’m still practicing even that!

Love this and totally agree!

For now, I'll stick with an extra cup of coffee for to handle my startup problems.

This mug is definitely trying its hardest, so if it doesn’t work the blame’s on me 😏"

Anyway: How do you start your week? Ease in or hit the ground running?
December 8, 2025 at 12:29 PM
I used to keep Mondays free to ease into the week, handle admin tasks, and prep. But now, that relaxed start is backfiring.

Maybe it's time to switch it up. Jump into coaching sessions to get back in the groove.

This could be something to consider for my 2026 plans.

Great description, CJ! 😃

I’m impressed when you write ‘former perfectionist’.
You succeeded in curing yourself completely? (if so, please tell me what the trick is 🙏🏼)
December 4, 2025 at 3:49 PM
I guess so.
But it would have made horrible coffee. I just don’t get people who prefer weak coffee. 😖
December 4, 2025 at 3:47 PM
So, you’re always up to date, Jules? 😃

I’m afraid I haven’t been very consistent in responding here on Bluesky.

Sorry for the late response!
😬

Well, not if you do it the right way.
The trick is to add some easy tasks that add value.

A great source of cheap dopamine. ✅

I rarely post about this.
But today, Dec 3, is International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

So it's officially MY day.
Well, maybe yours too.

So I’m curious:
What’s YOUR disability or challenge?

And what’s the ONE thing others can do to help?

But I can’t do it alone.

Hearing aids, remote mics, all helpful.

Yet the #1 thing that helps me? 👇

When people speak just a little slower.

That tiny adjustment gives my brain the extra split-seconds it needs to turn sound into meaning.

It saves me so much energy.

Multitasking while someone talks to me? Impossible.

If you’re speaking, I have to give you 100% of my attention.

Or I'll miss the story you wanted to share.

So I just listen. Intensely.

That’s how I turned my biggest challenge into my superpower.

Being hearing impaired costs me enormous amounts of energy.

Especially because my entire job is… listening.

And guess what?
That made me ridiculously good at it.

Well, I have no choice.

So YES, automation is perfect for decluttering your Inbox.

BUT: make sure you stay at the helm and are in charge of the process.

For that, you need to understand the decision-making process.

And review the current rules that filter your mailbox.

Pro tip: Use a timer to keep your break in check.

Otherwise, that 5-minute breather can easily turn into a 45-minute vacation.
