Mondays! They're tough to get going, sometimes even by afternoon. Shaking off the weekend can be a bear, right?

This isn't my first rodeo with this problem. Throw a wrench in my routine, and suddenly, getting back on track feels impossible.

One of the great perks of traveling by train:
I get to enjoy beautiful sunsets. 😍

How is your day going?

The downside of using too many productivity apps:

Getting a ton of notifications.

Whether you are distracted by your ADHD or just a perfectionist, work always takes longer than you expected.

The solution?
Timeboxing.

Give yourself a limited time to finish the work.
Be realistic, to add just the right amount of pressure.

That will help you get into flow.

Talk about an Inbox Zero hack!
Just open it today.

Oh well, I might as well have kept my inbox closed today.
Almost all of the emails in there where Black Friday stuff.

Delete - Done.

God, I love my work!

Today, I’m helping a client design a workspace that supports her instead of sabotaging her.

She’s likely undiagnosed ADHD, stuck in a sea of interruptions. And the worst part? Some of them must be answered!

I had to take over this morning.

My boyfriend wanted to make me coffee, but didn't properly fill the Moka pot. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Not that that is solved, it's time for some serious work.

Have a great week, everybody!

Behind on your work because you procrastinated this week?

Classic ADHD weekend setup.

Don’t let that stop you from spending time with your people this weekend.

Connection isn’t a distraction.
It’s what refuels your focus.

Your brain is your superpower.

But hey, it’s not a bottomless pit.

The more you try to remember, the tougher it is to stay focused.

So, put those to-dos and your planning in your calendar & to-do list instead of stuffing them all in your head.

One of the advantages of being self-employed?
You don't have to ask your boss permission to go to the dentist.

Not exactly my favorite activity, but important enough to make time for.

So, what sneaky personal errands do you squeeze into your workday as a solopreneur?

"If we want to master distraction, we must learn to deal with our desire to escape discomfort."

Because distraction isn't just coming from the outside.
The noise comes mostly from our response.

You can have FOMO.
But you don't have to give in.

Be brave. 💪

Me: ‘Why do I see so many of this guy's posts on my feed?’

Turns out I'm watching his profile right now.

😂

Maybe it's time for a break.

Email overload isn't just annoying—it's a fast track to burnout.

Your brain treats each unread email as an open task. With 1,000+ emails sitting there, you're essentially carrying 1,000+ mental tabs.

No wonder you feel exhausted before you even start working.
November 10, 2025 at 3:30 PM
I open my mailbox and I'm off into the rabbit hole!

Before I know it, 45 precious minutes of my day are gone.

If you don't want to get distracted, protect your mind from distraction.

It's why I don't read my email before 11 AM.

When your new landing page gets extremely slow while editing.
And you don't know why. 😩

I tried every workaround to speed up things, but this page just kept freezing. So it took me a whole day instead of 2 hours to change it.

Thankfully, the page loads fast enough. 😅

November and December always feel like autumn mode for me: shorter days, less energy.

It affects my focus and productivity. It's just the natural cycle, not laziness. If you have ADHD or are an HSP, you might notice this effect too.

My hack: planning smarter. 👇

“Lost time is never found again,” said Benjamin Franklin.

He's right.

You can't redo the previous day, relive the past hour
or reclaim the seconds you spent reading this.

But not every minute has to be 'productive'.

Recharging is not a luxury, it's essential. 🔋

Being an solopreneur means dealing with stress.

Having ADHD as a solopreneur makes it even worse!

What helps is to create a smarter environment.

Less clutter => less cognitive load
=> less stress => more focus

Get rid of the endless tabs, notifications & lists.

Uhm... 🤔

Maybe?

😂

November is two days old.

What are you goals and plans for this month?

For me, november will be all about creating more sales for the 50x Smarter Seminars. It's something I promised myself earlier this year: to learn how to sell. Well, I better hurry up.

What about you?

Funny.

Somehow, to me, the 2FA codes never seem random.
I always find symmetry or see a patern.

Anyone else?

As a neurodivergent productivity coach, I can't stress enough how important it is to take breaks.

Lunch breaks.
Pomorodo breaks.
5-mins to breath breaks.

If you want to increase your focus, you need to nurture it.

Every minute invested in recharging will pay itself back 2x.
November 1, 2025 at 2:44 PM
What!
Another hour passed? Not just 15 minutes?

Can someone please invent Google glasses to cure time blindness!?
October 30, 2025 at 7:26 PM
Neurodivergent burnout hits when the world's demands clash with how your brain works.

Own your wiring, build in supports like quiet routines and a better workspace, and keep the crash at bay.

All of that starts with simple things.

What is one tiny step you can take today?
October 29, 2025 at 2:46 PM
I've never been much of an athlete.

When I worked in a 9-5, I stayed in shape the typical Dutch way: cycling to and from work = 30 mins of cardio 4 times a week. 🚴🏻

As a solopreneur, it gets a lot harder. Home office, clients are mostly online or I need to take the car.
