Did You Know: Peryite is commonly depicted as a six-limbed dragon? This is odd, as dragons normally only appear to have four limbs. Notably, when Molag Bal captured and designed his own imitation of dragons, he also chose to give them six limbs.

ironically what makes star wars stuff best is when it is 'something else, but also star wars'
e.g. Andor, a British political thriller but also Star Wars
the Mandalorian, an episode-of-the-week Western but also Star Wars (when it was good)

Maybe Don’t Talk to the New York Times About Zohran Mamdani
It’s remarkable, the people you’ll hear from. Teach for even a little while at an expensive institution—the term they tend to prefer is “elite”—and odds are that eventually someone who was a studen…

Read Leigh Gardner's article, "Trade and Money in British West Africa" a monetary history of the seasonal demand for currency and how multiple currencies existed in West Africa beyond the establishment of colonial rule and colonial currencies.
The article appears in our #OpenAccess issue 53.1.

I wish FFXIV's Dancer had a better written questline, because the base concept is really fun and fitting for Final Fantasy overall.

I was born and raised in florida so what he said about Texas really resonates with me the extreme gerrymandering the Republicans do to stay in power. They do this all throughout the South its extremely undemocratic. This is a great interview.
I spoke with @cameron4txsenate11.bsky.social, a progressive candidate in deep red Texas, about why progressivism is resonating, where to go after Mamdani, "dark woke", and focusing on issues over virtue signaling and culture wars.
This was FANTASTIC, don't miss it.
