The Senate vote will still happen (and fail), but it was never anything more than symbolic -- and the Dems knew that. Nonstarter in the House.

Hurts them in so many ways, including hopes of making any meaningful trades. It should be easy to put together a package for a 1-year rental like Taylor Ward but then you look at the farm and realize you have to give up guys who are #5 through #10, because the dropoff is so steep.

this is what I wrote this book for. so on a cultural level we can try to get through it as quickly and with as little harm as possible. and on an individual level: don't listen to the AI or Reddit when they tell you to cut off your OK-but-sometimes-annoying family/

I don't see how this is even a question. He's a sunk cost. They have first-half pitching question marks. He will give you very respectable starts as the #5 guy and eat innings. There's a lot of value there.
