I love working #ConceptArt. Re-designing things or exploring completely new ideas from scratch. The iteration process of it. Trying to explore an idea while tying to make it workable withing the art direction & style constraints.

An issue with living in Australia is that when you need a niche item/part, no shop will have it in stock. You're going to have to mail order it, if you can get it at all. This can double the cost.
I currently want a seal for my airbrush, it costs $10 ish, postage will be 10-15. Bah!

All this posting about off screen 'departures', reminds me of the exit of Dodo, one of the Doctors companions. She doesn't appear in the last episode of her final story, and doesn't even get a goodby. The new companions simply passing on a message for her, that's shes decided to stay on earth :P

To expand on this.
Bobs need to die. Off screen, due to accident, misadventure, friendly fire or bureaucratic cock up.They need to die saving the day or getting hit by a log crossing a swollen river.
Excessive plot armour in war fiction makes it read like a kids cartoon. Let Bobs die.

But seriously, GWs reliance/focus on a bunch of named characters is one of the most disconnecting parts for me.
I get the franchise reasons. But in a setting of constant war & planet killing weapons, the fact that Bob keeps showing up tests my suspension of disbelief.

Back I was silly enough to argue online, I was astounded at how many of the 'gatekeepers' apparently had difficulty reading entire tweets.
To this day a post where I called Word Bearers a 40k faction is used as proof I didn't know they were one.

I like to zenithal my minis. I also like to sup assemble character minis that have had to access areas.
So this time I'm doing both. Primed in black. Temp assembled with blutack and zenithaled then broken apart again.

I love watching bad christian media. I love the way they sanitise their own religion. In the rapture film 'Left Behind' all the babies and young kids (age cut off?) in the world get raptured.

Nothing quite like shoveling stone for 4hr in 30c temps in direct sun to let you know just what hot and damp feels like.
(Honestly I kind of don't notice it till I get on the bus home and the heat just comes off me in waves)
