A socialist Welsh Woke person living in England who hopes that we will soon rejoin the EU.
I love this pic. Lise Meitner, front and centre. She has element 109, meitnerium, named after her, and some may also recognise a certain former patent clerk on the left.

Part of me rather likes this latest nonsense from Trump. I've been to the USA many times, and loved it, though I've yet to visit NYC and New England in the fall, but now I don't need to worry about my lack of money for not visiting, because I know these days, Trump would never let me in.

So sad, I pray for his soul, though I think where he's bound, they only do red, and maybe some orange.

Would that have been the elephant in the room?

It happens. I like it when that happens, logic + luck.

I'm blaming the president for that 5, and why not!

You're the one who should wake up. In the 1970s, we had the Bernard Manning and the Black and White minstrel show. Racism was everywhere. I'm not saying that Farage 2025 isn't a racist, but it's daft to condemn him for the views of the world that he had when he was still a teenager.

Given my previous social media posts, nothing illegal ... yet, (though I'm not discounting a shift in the goal posts), but I very much doubt if I would be allowed into the USA while Trump is still in charge.

I'm guessing that next year there will be more than a few stories of fans who had spent £10k or more to watch their team (tickets, hotels, flights, etc.), only to be denied entry at the USA border because they have the wrong sort of social media profile.

The Donald doesn't look that great in some of the recent pics I've seen, but that might be just some AI tom foolery, though as a Terry Pratchett fan, I have to ask, does DEATH take a personal interest in someone like Trump, or does IT leave it to the likes of the rat's DEATH?

He must have a sore throat this week from all that is to be barked at. I know I have!

Is that any different from British troops who were looking for oil in the Middle East after WWII? Well maybe, back then they didn't have social media.

Planet earth will survive, it has, after all survived much worse, and I'm not just referring to that meteor that smashed into the earth 65 million years ago. As for us humans, nah!

Given I've posted anti-Israel government comments, I'm guessing that I'm not going to be allowed into the US if I was daft enough to try, but I do feel sorry for the hotel and restaurant workers who will suffer as tourism to US falls off a cliff.

Do they? It seems to me that the targets that Tesla have to met to Trigger Musk's £1Tn payday are in the realms of La-La land, and I suspect the investors knew that when they voted for the package. It did get Tesla some publicity, but I'm not sure it was welcome publicity.

Yes, but FIFA gave him a shiny golden medal, so he's probably still for to far into the the land of rapture to care.

If barred from being re-elected in ANY election, then maybe yes. The problem with MPs is that they always have an eye on the next election, and so don't tend to vote for difficult things, and usually follow he party line. A second chamber without that worry could well vote for things based on merit.

So close to a 2.

Started with my usual opening word, same matches as yesterday, so reused the second word from that game, no-brainer. A candidate for word 3 then practically spelled itself after I moved the two misplaced letters. An amusing result.
