The letter essentially appeals to Israel to stop so the rest of us won't be asked to make any decision about anything. It also wrongly assumes some underlying legitimacy to Israel's actions, disagreeing really only with the execution. Predictably & typically weak, lazy & cowardly.
While welcome, we need more than words from the international community to stop the killing of civilians in Gaza, especially those seeking aid.

But, no doubt, there'll be zero consequences. Most media won't even report it.

I realise her role is antisemitism envoy but Segal was obviously appointed to that role bc of her leadership and status in officially pro-Israel lobby groups such as AICC and ECAJ.
She is pro-Israel and against antisemitism; Albanese chose to link these aspects officially. It’s not an inherent link.
