A great Substack here by Carl Smith! @53rdplacestudios.com

He accurately captures the fury and outrage the American people now feel towards Donald Trump.

Narrator: Bovino has now fled Chicago, because he was being held to account for his illegal actions there by the courts -- and is overseeing the assault and kidnapping of people elsewhere in the United States.
Bovino: "Whether they were criminals or individuals that were taking jobs from Americans -- you name it, that's what they were doing. And I'll tell you what's gonna happen. We're gonna go even harder on the streets. If he releases those 650, we're gonna apprehend 1,650 on the streets of Chicago."

Remember the recent middle-of-the-night apartment building raid where children were dragged outside naked & zip-tied in the street while black & Latino residents were _sorted by race_ and piled into separate vans while their apartments were ransacked & robbed? That raid? So it resulted in 0 arrests.

UPDATE: Since launching our own methane-tracking satellite earlier this year, California has helped close 10 large methane leaks in our state.

That pollution reduction is roughly the same as taking 18,000 gas-powered cars off the road for an entire year.
California is moving forward with a groundbreaking satellite project to track and reduce methane emissions.

With this innovative technology, we’ll be able to move faster to cut methane emissions — protecting Californians and tackling harmful pollution.

Home ownership is now out-of-reach for many Americans. @matthewstoller.bsky.social says that's because starter homes "don't exist anymore," and business and government have forgotten that "homes are for people to live in," not investments. #Velshi
Matt Stoller: How 'oligarchs' and 'extraction' fueled America's housing crisis
Home ownership is now out-of-reach for many Americans. “Homes are for people to live in,” says Matt Stoller of the American Economic Liberties Project, but he warns big landlords are "building homes for money, not people." President Trump claims to care about home affordability, but Stoller insists his administration is actually "on the side of oligarchs."

Earlier today I posted that I would give @RepMTG grace and would love to engage in conversation with her. With that said, my friend @libradunn1.bsky.social is absolutely correct. While at it, would love to further discuss Parkland with her and an apology for her behavior after the shooting.

Well, it was a nice 15 years with solid health insurance that I can afford. Regular Pap smears, mammograms, skin cancer checks and colonoscopies. As of today I am uninsured. Even with the #ACA subsidies it’s too much money. This country needs #Medicareforall

This is so so disturbing. Trump is now pardoning January 6th rioters for unrelated crimes, just to reward them for their violence to keep him in power.

The Republican Party is in the full time business of endorsing and incentivizing political violence. So scary.
