With the airwaves filled with the Stone Roses after Mani passed away last week, I dug out a photo of my dog Sally, full name Sally Cinnamon. Seen on the right in the photo below, next to Merlin. I can still hear the sound of them playing looking at this photo. Ah I miss these two a lot. 😍

She was supposed to be a Christmas Cactus, but it turns out that Frida is a Birthday Cactus - she started flowering on my birthday a week or so ago and is still going strong. 😍

Apparently Cloudflare have "re-enabled WARP access in London." I did not realise there was access to the Immaterium in our capital city.

I have only just noticed that in Rogue One, if you zoom in on the this shot that is captioned "Jedha, Imperial Occupied Moon" (that I found on the internets), you can see the Star Destroyer hovering over the city. I knew you could see the city, but never spotted the Star Destroyer. Cool detail! 🤩

More research. Manga adaptation of Guardians of the Whills, the book by Greg Rucka about Baze and Chirrut's adventures. Also Dawn of Rebellion, a brilliant source for FFG Star Wars covering the Rogue One / Rebels era.

Birthday film choice by me was The Wrath of Khan, as my mother in law bought me a boxed set of the films. It's fitting as it's Kirk's birthday in the film, as are the themes about accepting mortality and aging. A lot of the plot would work in an age of sail setting. And that score by James Horner. 😍
