Since moving to the country I’ve learned that everything is a reason to fire your oversized weapon morning, noon or night; holiday depression/anxiety has no chance against a high powered rifle. #amurica

I don’t usually chase down everything an artist has done even if I’m a big fan, so I get to be surprised when I find amazing work I’ve never heard!

If you live in the PNW and see matsutake at your grocery store don’t balk at something that is so highly priced per pound. I spent $3.22 on 2 mushrooms and made a delicious omelette. A wonderful holiday treat!

I inadvertently wound up at Bigfoot Treasure in Chehalis, WA and the had a very fun display of Bigfoot imprint casts. Maybe 25 in all. All replicas of originals I’m sure but really cool and my first time viewing such a thing in person. Not sure why I didn’t take pictures. I’ll go back soon!

Just went to see Keeper because I bought a ticket to Frankenstein in fucking Shoreline 2hrs away.
I can’t really recommend Keeper. It had a lot going right for it but lost the plot towards the end where I didn’t care what happened to anyone.

Really I blame lack of funding for art classes and general under-prioritization of art making in society. Most adults do not have art making as part of their lives so some get sadly enthralled when they discover what they think is their long dormant creativity by dicking around with AI.
