Absolutely wonderful performance of Carmina Burana today by the Oregon Symphony, and PSU’s Chamber, Rose, and Thorn choirs. Also the parts sung by the Pacific Youth Choir.

Carnina Burana with the Oregon Symphony tonight was absolutely incredible! Nothing compares to seeing it live with a symphony and 150-person-strong choir. Those monks can get quite bawdy in Latin too.

This part (different concert) was my favorite. It's now an ear worm

I just watched a local Toronto orchestra play Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture and when the bells started ringing at the end it full-on brought tears to my eyes. Classical music, as the kids say these days, slaps.
