Boo! In my search for new music through bands touring to Portland, I found this French jazz singer I thought my jazz guy partner might like. His take? She's doing a far cornier derivative version of hot Parisian jazz, coming in a beat behind.

My new plan with buying records is not just buying up all the new releases as I see them touring. I've been spending today listening to new albums first on Apple Music to see what I like the best. Since the music ecosystem isn't what it once was, and I actually can test out an album first!

Does it trip anyone out when people say 2020 like as a past tense? Like oh yeah that was 5 years ago.I feel so weirded out, idk how to explain to people that after losing years to covid like it didnt end i keep feeling im losing my years but also stuck in like a cryogenic chamber impervious to time
