I am very open about the fact that I was a degenerate gambler during college and the poker boom and even I would not touch sports betting with a 30ft pole.

What most people don't realize is that the vast, VAST majority of people on SNAP are working full time jobs.
Often times they are working *multiple* jobs.
It's never about being lazy, or wanting handouts, it's about class warfare and the rich destroying everything. Just like it always is.

Whenever people complain about the number of folks relying on food stamps, it is worth reminding them that SNAP is, by too large of a degree, a subsidy for corporations that refuse to pay a living wage and their political allies who reject public policy prescriptions to reduce income inequality.
