Xbox has been over for a long time and they treat their core userbase as an afterthought. Phil Spencer going 'all in' will have untold ramifications, as Game Pass continues to stagnate and their hardware is DOA. They'll become the next Activision within this decade, if they aren't already.

I doubt he ever cared about climate change. He saw the way the wind was blowing and cynically invested, knowing that the fawning media would feed into his desires of self-aggrandisation.
He's always craved attention, right back to his Zip2 days and the media bought into it hook, line and sinker.

Not to mention, they pretty much buried the simultaneous attacks on the Philippines because they didn't think US citizens would care. I only learned about it by reading Day of Infamy.
