Georgia House speaker says the legislature will propose legislation to eliminate the homestead exemption on property taxes, replacing it with ... something else. He cites the 300 local governments which opted out of the state’s reforms last year.

The issue is hideously complex.

For 18 months, I had to keep the secret that I didn't just voice The Flying Dutchman in the SpongeBob movie, but I also played him in live-action sequences. The hours it took flew by thanks to superb makeup artists Gage Munster & Marcel Banks who were both so kind AND hilarious. 🤣 Thanks fellas! 🙏

I think I read somewhere that one of the first (and best) indicators of economic prosperity or recession is how well strip clubs are doing.

I don’t know how factual that is, but I’m gonna take it as gospel.
The strip club not even the way it probably used to be because the economy fucked up and then the girls not even moving with same sensual love of the game like maliah & lira was doing back in the day.. shit was probably an ethereal experience

In case anyone didn’t believe in the literacy crisis among the kids, my eighth graders loudly complained about being given a six page story and it took many of them about an hour and a half to read it. And then lots of them said they didn’t get very basic things in the story. And I’m so tired.
