Writer, teacher, weirdo. Queer as hell. Chaotic good. May or may not have an army of ninja bears at my back. Aware of the fascism, but trying to post things worth fighting for. She/her. patreon.com/user?u=34623230
I am not terribly skilled at yo hoing, but it seems I will have to learn for unrelated reasons.

I have to finish a research project first. But so far the line in my system is long (which pleases me tbh).

Like, yes, some bits of quilting practice originated in Europe and Africa, but making whole-ass works of art out of fabric scraps and then sleeping under them? That's American culture! And African American quilting includes an entire unique storytelling tradition! And that's just quilting!

"Black American culture isn't American culture" is ... certainly a take.

I suppose if we're going to play Only White People Matter Bingo, I should point out that most of what people imagine when I say "a quilt" is an American art form. And Black American quilting is a different, equally cool one!

I'd like to see Murderbot at some point, but I can't swing another subscription. Tracking down the books is relatively high on my to-do list.

Yeah, but they seem to be going for CW vibes.

Unless you're calling ME heteronormative and cis, in which case you're only half right and also I don't see how that's relevant.

I'm not shocked by that part, but the original series had at least one episode banned in the South because Kirk kissed Uhura. When a Trek's racial politics are less progressive than those of network TV in the sixties, I must raise a single Vulcan eyebrow.

Stegosaurus.

Yes, those are excellent indeed. But unfortunately, I can only speak for the murderfloofs.

Boars also hunger for flesh. Acceptable. However, you will have to consult your local feral-boar representative to make those arrangements (unless you mean "boar" as in adult male bear, which most people don't).

Only if they leave evidence.

He is welcome to try. The bears are always hungry.

Do emus get along with dogs? I'm slightly worried for Beamer.

Bear bait.

Yeah, it's not a creative decision I'd make.
