Right, UK gaming folk - Revelation is an amazing, focused convention in Sheffield. Quality games in a great gaming location.
The early numbers have traditionally been threadbare and I've been forced to use a Cold Hard Stare to convince people they like fun.

This morning, I find myself thinking about LongCon next year. It's my turn to take the GMs chair back and initially I was 100% in on Spectaculars. However, having a full weekend shakedown of D&H2 is appealing too.
I'm going to have to consider how carry things too because that's changed recently 🤔

At the weekend, I was challenged about what I liked so much about Daggerheart. I couldn't really put it into words, but after some reflection, now I can.
It does things I want to do in a game like that, in the way I want to do them, so I can work with the system rather than fight against it

So I just watched a horror movie, intentionally, for the first time. The Conjuring. It nicely confirmed to me that jump scares and spooky shadows do nothing for me.

Exploring my gratis TNT Sports subscription I have been trying to understand baseball. I *think* I understand now, after watching the second Yankees/Red Sox wild card game. It's not terrible but I think it needs more statistics, analysis and impenetrable game-related jargon before it's a real sport😉
