I have been very critical of Tom Brady as a broadcaster. But he has been really good on the call today during this Lions Packers game.

Explaining how TeSlaa got so open in the end zone, breaking down different route concepts really well. He still has some cringe moments but getting better.

Matthew Stafford has been everything the Rams could have hoped he would be. But as he continues to cement his place in Rams history, one has to wonder if we will remember him as a Ram or as a Lion. Wrote more about Stafford's historical impact on two franchises:

Great game by Josh Hart tonight. The shots were falling, he was playmaking and getting downhill. This was one of those best of Hart games that make him such an important piece for the Knicks.

I will never understand American hip hop fans that dismiss London rappers because they think the accent is funny. Objectively, the London scene has been incredible for well over a decade. Listening to this project by Slew right now, and this might be one of the best albums I've heard all year.

Karl-Anthony Towns has been under the microscope of expectations since he arrived in NY. The pressure has only increased, and he finds himself at a pivot point. Wrote more about the weight of expectations on Towns' shoulders in my latest for Knicks Fan TV 👇

Nas and DJ Premier collaboration album is coming on December 12th. I am so excited! This is the album I've been wanting to come out for the last 20 years. Literally counting down the days until I can listen to it!

Something I've been thinking about lately and I'm curious for the input of others.

It feels like whenever a sports team or brand unveils a new logo that even has a hint of minimalist design principles everyone hates it.

I fell in love with Michael Penix while he was at Washington and he is someone I will always root for. His latest setback is a stark reminder of how fleeting time in the NFL can be, and why injuries suck so much. My latest below on Substack

New podcast episode!

Coaches are using ChatGPT and other AI tools for strategic decisions. It's the latest example of people using chatbots as an all-knowing wisdom source as opposed to a situational tool. Talked more about why that's an issue. Listen below!

Loved KAT's game tonight. Stayed aggressive on offense, got downhill and attacked the paint. Didn't force bad looks, but took the open threes he got and hit 3/4.

Rebounding was consistent as always and he just made a lot of the right decisions. Great to see from him.

I know it's been two losses, but you can't convince me that Jameis Winston isn't a starting quarterback in this league.

Jahmyr Gibbs is a damn cheat code. Unreal to watch this guy make shit happen week after week.

It's still early in this game, but man Pat Narduzzi is out here looking like a prophet. He downplayed last week's game against Notre Dame, accepting the fate of the blowout and was focused on winning the ACC and beating Georgia Tech.

Josh Hart gets compared to John Starks a lot as a Knick. And that's for good reason, both did great things in the uniform, wore the same number, and play with intensity that Knick fans LOVE.

At what point does Jalen Suggs give it up and go the Derrick White route?

When I was a kid I had a huge basketball card collection that sadly did not make it with me when I moved to Jordan. There are a few player cards that I had from back then that stick with.

I honestly feel like "Trap Muzik" by TI doesn't get enough love as a great southern hip hop album

Michael Ray Richardson had a promising NBA career that was derailed by drugs. But he never let it define him, finding his own redemption post NBA. Wrote about Michael Ray in my latest for Knicks Fan TV.

If I’m every other AFC team I’m hoping that Houston doesn’t sneak into the playoffs. Because this pass rush is legit.

This is such a good analogy
AI bros are the new flat earthers. No matter how much science piles up to prove them consistently wrong, they continue to have their minds blown by silly trinkets and trickery.

Knicks shoot 28% from three and 54% from the line and escape Dallas with a win that can only be called fortunate. The three point defense is a real issue and needs to be fixed. But the free throw shooting down the stretch was downright alarming and kept the door open for much longer than it should.

The 1970s are often a forgotten decade of NBA history. And yet between the pace of play, parity, and scandals, the league today feels somewhat similar to the way it did 50 years ago. Wrote more about decade similarity in my latest on Substack 👇

Sometimes when you write it’s a struggle to string a sentence together. Other times the words just come pouring out. Tonight was one of those pouring out days. 1200 words on the page appearing just like that. Such an amazing feeling.

I’ve been watching Isaiah Stewart since he was drafted. It is incredible how much better of a rim protector he has become over the last couple of seasons.
