It’s funny how most news organizations are suing Perplexity, which Jeff Bezos is deeply invested in. Yet the Washington Post, which Bezos owns, is promoting their Comet browser at the expense of the news org’s own revenue. Hope this causes them to lose the lawsuits.

What caused it is Domino’s press release and reputable news outlets playing around with the concept of “you can’t spell domino’s without the ‘mmm’” which is guaranteed to trip up LLMs, so now I’m scrolling through every article I can find to see which humans do their jobs and which use AI unchecked.

This Dominos rebrand is a fun way to learn which media outlets use generative AI to write for them. It involves the company changing the number of Ms in the word Dominos, and Dexerto here managed to miscount it in two different ways.
