Turns out Lorde's approach to costume changes is very relatable: she turned up to tonight's show in jeans and a t shirt, did a few songs, took her trousers off, did a few more songs in her pants (mostly lying on the floor), then put her trousers back on and did the rest of the show.

How has it taken me so long to watch season 2 of THE AFTERPARTY? "Murder mystery comedy where every episode is a different character's version of the story told in a different genre of movie" is such a good hook, and then "starring Tiffany Haddish and Sam Richardson" seals it.

Waterstones to open about 100m from Argonaut, a particularly nice indie bookshop. Quote from Waterstones management makes it sound like they got Argonaut mixed up with the gaming café next door.

I had a wonderful, friendly (and fully booked!) launch for Border Riding with Argonaut books and @ancientrobotgames.bsky.social. This only happened because they both wanted to help out a small local publishing house. No big chain business has (yet) ordered or stocked the books and games I publish.

Argonaut is my local, and is the best bookshop I've ever been near. They're lovely people who care about what they do, know the tastes of their regulars, and have been nothing but supportive of me and my work. Waterstones can fuck right off.
Sometimes you get that moment where all the scraps of projects that never came together congealed into a single incredibly powerful premise and. Anyway. I need to go and write a comic NOW.
